Sugarlounge is nestled amongst lush green hills facing the Sulu Sea, and the Beach is situated near Sipalay in the Philippines. There is now road access to Sugarlounge, but the unique vacation experience stays.

Sugar Lounge is managed by Beat, Swiss national.

We look forward to providing you with great service and hospitality so that you can relax and enjoy your stay.

Sugar Beach
The beach is approximately 800 meter long and features eleven unique resorts.

Rocks and Hills

Sugar Beach is surrounded by green hills and rock formations on opposite sides of the beach. Monkeys, Wildcats and other animals live in the trees behind Sugar Lounge. Locals in the area still produce charcoal in the hills near by.

Our Cottages have standard Fan in the Room to cool you down and a hot water Shower in the lovely designed CR.

There is a Table to work and a Shelf to store your Belongings.

We serve a variety of Coffees brewed with our Italien Coffee Maschine with exelent Coffee Beans.

For the thirsty ones , we have Drinks, Beers, Wines and Liqueurs.

Monday to Thursday the Bar is open to 10.00 pm.

Friday and Saturday, as soon we have a lot of guests, we will have an open end for closing.

On Sundays our Restaurant/Bar stay closed.

How to get to Sugar Lounge

Book flights at Cebu Pacific , Philippines Airlines or another Company

Over Manila to Bacolod then to Sugar Lounge

The easiest and fastest way is a International Airplane to Silay Airport situated north of Bacolod, Negros island 1½h.

Vans and Taxis or Vans you can hire at the Airport in Silay, directly to Sugar Lounge situated at Sugar Beach, Nauhang, Sipalay.

The One-Way Price from Airport Silay is P 5000.- . Call Carlos Sabordo Van 0998 422 53 49 or call a day ahead Ernie 0961 531 42 23 to catch you at Silay Airport.
OR: Taxi from Airport Silay to Southern Ceres Bus Terminal in Bacolod.

Public Vans for P 400.-/ Person located opposite the Southern Bus Terminal about 4 hrs. to Sipalay.

Or: Aircon Buses , leaving every hour from Southern Bus Terminal Bacolod have about 6 hrs. to Montilla located just before Sipalay. Regular Buses usually take much longer.

Take a Trycycle at Montilla around P 100.- or from Sipalay P150.-

Tell the Driver to follow at Sugar Beach the Sugar Lounge Signboards to get directly to the Sugar Lounge intergratet Parking Area. See plan below.

From Cebu / Dumaguete to Sipalay

International Airplane to Cebu City, on Cebu island.

Fast ferry leaving at the pier the same day in the afternoon or next morning to Dumaguete, Negros island 5 hrs

Vans or Taxis you can hire at the Airport in Dumaguete. directlay to Sugar Lounge, Sugar Beach, Nauhang, Sipalay. Access to Sugar Lounge see beside.

Aircon Buses, faster then regular Buses, leaving from Ceres Bus Terminal Dumaguete to Sipalay with up to two bus changes have about 6 hrs.

12.00 the Aircon Ceres Bus drives directly to Sipalay – it is a little bit faster!

With your own Vehicle

From Bacolod Montilla is before Sipalay and from Dumaguete after Sipalay.

Turn of the highway in Montilla near the New Sipalay Government Center (white big building) and follow the Road to Sugarbeach.

At Sugarbeach you just follow the Sugar Lounge Signboards to get directly to the Sugar Lounge intergratet Parking Area. See Plan to access to Sugar Lounge above.
